Recently, the Weinan City Ecological Environment Bureau announced the acceptance of the environmental impact report for the industrial demonstration project of polyolefin elastomer (POR) from Shaanxi Shanco Collaborative Innovation New Materials Co., Ltd.
Shaanxi Shanmei Cooperative Innovation and New Materials Co., Ltd. has established a hundred-ton level POR industrial pilot plant in the Weibei Coal Chemical Industrial Park. Currently, the POR industrial pilot tests have achieved the expected results, with product performance indicators meeting expectations, and the process flow of the POR device has been established. Ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) is one of the main benchmark products for polyolefin elastomer (POR). According to the test results, compared to EPDM, key indicators such as tensile strength and elongation at break of POR are superior, and the POR product has a lower Mooney viscosity, effectively resolving the contradiction of traditional rubber where "high molecular weight results in good performance, but high molecular weight and high Mooney viscosity lead to poor processing performance."

Area: This project is planned to be built within the 525.4 acres of land requisitioned by Xiechuangda New Materials Company.
Labor staffing and working system: This project has a labor staffing of 190 people, an annual operating time of 8000 hours, and adopts a four-shift three-rotation work system.
Product Plan: This project is an industrial demonstration project of polyolefin elastomer (POR). The polymerization section has 2 production lines with an annual output of 17,500 tons of POR, with a production scale of 35,000 tons of polyolefin elastomer (POR) per year (dry basis), and a by-product of 1,600 tons of low-quality rubber (dry basis). Different grades of products can be produced according to market demand.
